Scott Pilgrim
So Bryan Lee O'Malley's final volume: Scott Pilgrim's Finest Hour, has come out and we are days away from the film and game. I did this today and yesterday and thought I would post it. It's kind of cute, I think. The girls of Scott Pilgrim.

Bryson
This is some art I did for Bryson Gilreath who you might know from MTV's My Life as Liz. He has his own web site where he posts his writing, reviews of comics, etc. He's a fellow nerd and all around cool guy.
He asked me to do some art for his web site and we came up with the idea of him with some iconic weaponry. So these swords are: A lightsaber, a samurai sword, Scott Pilgrim's flaming sword of love, Finn's sword from Adventure Time and The Master Sword from Zelda.
His website is: www.mythandthemaker.com
Check it out!

More Glee
So I could have SWORN I posted this before but I don't see it anywhere...so here it is...possibly again. Quinn Fabray and Brittany from Glee. Quinn I put in her outfit from the "Keep Holding On" number and Brittany I had to leave in her Cheerios uniform. I love Brittany. She always has the best lines.

Ang
Just finished watching all three Seasons of Avatar: The Last Airbender and loved it. I noticed how most of the benders were either children or old people and not many who were in their prime. So I sort of wondered what Ang would look like all beefed out. Super Avatar I guess.
I kind of like it. I'm also working on a painting of Toph.

Twilight/Avatar
So I saw a bunch of Avatar merchandise at a bookstore the other day, and s piece of Twilight merchandise someone had set in the middle of it. So I did this today for fun. Took a few hours.
I've got lots of stuff coming up. Sherlock Holmes art, (from the books, not the crappy movie) Star Wars art and Return to Oz art too.

Sam as Chanel
So my new comic, Briar Hollow, has six main characters. At the end of each issue I will include a watercolored pin-up for one of the characters dressed as someone else. My main character is Molly and this is her cousin Sam.
Sam and Molly live together and Sam is into fashion, so this is her dressed as Coco Chanel. I like it. I think it's funny.

Briar Hollow
So this is a little preview of Briar Hollow that I have been working on since school ended. The first issue is 17 pages, the whole first story arc should be around 100 and it follows the adventures of a nerd girl named Molly as she goes back to college.
The image is a teaser, page two of the book, a dream sequence, without the text. Written and drawn by me, colored by Kimball Davis.

Santana Lopez
Santana Lopez from Glee as played by Naya Rivera.
I've been drawing the whole cast and still have Mike, Matt, Brittany, Puck, Sue, Will and Emma left to do, but Santana had to be next.
I'm happy this character is on TV considering she brings more Latin visibility to television. She is a fun and interesting character, a popular Latin cheerleader in Lima Ohio. That's fantastic to me and eye opening for the country. Latinos make up 15 percent of the U.S. population and account for 4% of on-camera talent.
I love every line she has had on the show and many thanks to Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan and Naya Rivera!
Now give her a song!
