Santana Lopez

Santana Lopez from Glee as played by Naya Rivera.

I've been drawing the whole cast and still have Mike, Matt, Brittany, Puck, Sue, Will and Emma left to do, but Santana had to be next.

I'm happy this character is on TV considering she brings more Latin visibility to television. She is a fun and interesting character, a popular Latin cheerleader in Lima Ohio. That's fantastic to me and eye opening for the country. Latinos make up 15 percent of the U.S. population and account for 4% of on-camera talent.

I love every line she has had on the show and many thanks to Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan and Naya Rivera!

Now give her a song!

Sycorax

Another thesis piece. This one was the cause of some controversy from my mid term panel. They seemed to think I was being racist for making the witch black. I disagreed. It was Shakespeare who made her black. That would be like saying he was racist for making Othello black. Hello, read the play please.

Anyway, I thought it was racist for them to suggest a witch COULDN'T be black. So here she is. I really like it.
